Why is the world calling it 'England's Royal Wedding'?

I think the honest answer is that they're ignorant. I'm not making a judgement here, I merely mean that a lot of outsiders (particularly American) genuinely don't know the difference between England and the UK. Whether that's due to their poor education systems or lack of interest I don't know, but I don't think there's anything malicious behind it.
