Which is better mac book or mac book pro?

im looking to buy a macbook but i am very indecisive in buying one. im a fashion design student. so i will be using it for photoshop, illustrator and cad. i do like the pro but its so big. i want to be able to carry it around alot. if anyone has advice please share. thanks
