i'm guessing she loves you, but the pressure is too much for her to be with you and someones probably pressuring her that your not good for her. I think she still wants to be friends. Don't send her a farewell mail. That would close the door to your relationship and she will probably be reallly sad. So let her go. Talk to her less, but don't completely close the door.
