I'd really like to become a race car diver, but I'm afraid I've waited to long to express interest....?

Unfortunately, it depends upon finances. If you have a LOT of money, or access to it, you can buy your way in. If not, you have to start at the bottom, and it will take a lot of years to get recognized. That is, if you are truly a talented driver. If not, you should be sure and get a good education, go to college, and maybe someday you can own a race team, or sponsor one.
