Can i be arrested if i allow my g/f(17yrs old) to spend the night and her parents disapprove?im 19?

her parents are very abusive and also addicts/alcoholics, tonight a delaware state trooper called me and told me if i did not get her home i would be charged with contributing to the dilquincy of a minor.(please excuse my bad spelling)
